Leave the ground and just wrap it up once done. Disconnect your battery before installing the resistor. Once everything is wrapped back up, with resistors installed, hook battery back up and you should be good and hopefully without an A/B light. If there is an A/B light, something was installed incorrectly.
Oct 18, 2010. #2. ABS light. The front brake pad sensor and the ABS sensor are two different sensors. You will need VCDS to turn off ABS light but if problem still exists then it will come on again. Also when they did the brakes did they flush the complete brake system? If they got air into ABS unit then VCDS/VagCom will be needed to exercise

The airbag module takes power directly from the ECM power supply circuit, likely because they want to prevent people like me from disabling the system. Most cars have fuses for the airbag module.
