A 2007 2.0TDCi Mondeo Mk4 has the oil filter in front of the block as you look at the engine from the front of the car. You change the filter from the top of the engine bay. The acoustic cover lifts up at the front then pull it towards you. The grommets may resist a bit but it just pulls off. 1.
